Personalized Mailbox

free mailbox?

I live in Jacksonvile, FL and am about to move into my first home. My grandmother told me that the United States Post Office wiill give you a free mailbox if your home has just been built. I cant find any info on the website, Is this true??

1. I have never heard of that, but go to the local post office and talk with the Post Master. He or she should be able to help you.
2. No, it is not true.
3. I don't think so. Besides if your moving into a brand new home, you'll want to pick out your own mailbox.
